TEMPLE is a Christ-centered church community in San Diego devoted to worship, spiritual formation, shared life, and creativity.

To cultivate sacred spaces and a shared life where people encounter God, abide in His presence, and are formed together to become more like Jesus.
OUR VISION
To be a living TEMPLE, carrying God’s presence and expressing His love wherever we go.
OUR LIFE TOGETHER
We gather around Scripture, communion, prayer, worship, and shared meals. With reverence and expectation, we make room to encounter God, attend to His presence, and respond to the leading of the Holy Spirit.
Formation unfolds over time. Around the table, in honest conversation, through prayer and worship, and in everyday acts of faithfulness, we learn to follow Jesus, grow in His likeness, and care for one another.

ROOM TO RECEIVE CARE
Healing, renewal, and life in Jesus.
Jesus came so that we may have life abundantly. We make room to receive His love, rest in His presence, and find support in community.
Through prayer, relationships, and pastoral care, we walk alongside one another, trusting God to bring healing, restore hope, and renew our joy over time. As we receive His care, we learn to respond to His love in the way we live.

OUR FOUNDATIOn
We are rooted in the historic Christian faith, worshiping one God who eternally exists in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We receive Scripture as the inspired and authoritative Word of God.

Jesus Christ is at the center of our faith and life. Fully God and fully human, He died for our sins, was buried, rose from the dead, and reigns as Lord. Salvation is God’s gift, received by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. We turn to Him in repentance and faith, receiving forgiveness and new life.

We believe the Holy Spirit dwells within believers, leading us into truth, forming us in the likeness of Christ, and empowering us to live in freedom, holiness, love, and obedience. We believe He gives spiritual gifts to the body of Christ, equipping us to serve one another, build up the Church, and participate in the work of God's Kingdom with faith, courage, and humility.

As part of Christ’s church, we follow Jesus together, sharing in the sacraments of baptism and communion. We pursue spiritual disciplines such as prayer, Scripture, and fasting, making room for God to shape our lives as we grow in love for Him and our neighbors.

WORSHIP, CREATIVITY, AND EVERYDAY LIFE
Worship is the offering of our whole lives to God. We respond to His mercy through love, obedience, hospitality, generosity, justice, and the faithful stewardship of what He has entrusted to us.
Made in the image of our Creator, we believe each person has been given a unique life to cultivate—gifts, abilities, imagination, relationships, and opportunities to reflect His goodness.
Creativity and beauty are woven into our shared life. Through art, music, storytelling, craftsmanship, hospitality, and the everyday work of our hands, we express wonder, serve others, and offer what we have been given back to God.
