T E M P L E is a creative, Christ-centered community in San Diego forming lives around the presence of God through worship, creativity, and shared life.

O u r H e a r t

TEMPLE exists to call creatives back to their God-given identity in Christ.

We seek to shepherd artists, makers, musicians, storytellers, and builders—those who cultivate beauty into deeper devotion to Jesus, and into lives that reflect His beauty in the world.

T h e o l o g y o f C r e a t I v I t y

We believe creative gifts are not accidental, but part of God’s design.

Scripture reminds us that God created people for His glory
(Isaiah 43:7) and has filled individuals with His Spirit, wisdom, and skill to create (Exodus 31:3–5).

Creativity is not separate from faith—
it is one of the ways we reflect the nature of God.

Our lives are meant to be an offering of worship unto God
(Romans 12:1).

Our creative expression becomes one way that worship is lived out in the world, as we steward what God has given us
(1 Peter 4:10).

We desire to grow in our knowledge of God,
bearing fruit in lives that honor Him
and reflect His beauty in the world
(Colossians 1:10).

We are rooted in the historic Christian faith—
holding to the authority of Scripture,
the centrality of Christ,
and the transforming work of the Holy Spirit.
